About this session
In 2026, the defining question is no longer whether to deploy agentic AI, but how to do so safely, accountably, and in a way that withstands regulatory scrutiny. Unlike traditional automation, agentic systems autonomously traverse APIs, databases, and workflows—chaining decisions across the enterprise without human checkpoints—making architectural design choices around identity, permissions, and auditability true governance imperatives.
Enterprise architects are uniquely positioned to define the boundaries of autonomy: where systems can act independently, where humans must remain in the loop, and which safeguards must be built in by design rather than bolted on afterward. For Dutch enterprises, the EU AI Act adds further urgency, with compliance deadlines for high‑risk AI systems arriving in August 2026.
This discussion brings together enterprise architects to share how they are addressing these challenges in practice—and to collectively define what mature agentic AI governance should look like within the EA function.
