The demand for cybersecurity talent and expertise has skyrocketed since 2013. According to Cybersecurity Ventures, the number of cybersecurity job vacancies globally has grown by 350%, from 1 million in 2013 to 3.5 million in 2021. In the past 3 years, a study by Cyberseek found that the number of openings remains unchanged at 3.5 million, but highlighted that the imbalance between the supply and demand for cybersecurity skills will persist until the end of 2025.
